Design Projects
As a way to practice and improve my ability to make designs I created different projects to home my skills. Some were for made to reflect companies like the employers I hope to have some day. Others were just for fun. From magazine advertisements to print goods I created plenty of works that allowed me to become more familiar with program in the Adobe Creative Suite. With this experience I am confident I could make anyone the items that want designed for numerous purposes.
Amethyst Bay Advertisement

For this project I was tasked to creating a advertisement for the fictional resort and spa, Amethyst Bay. The logo and font choice were provided to me and I found the visuals on a free to use photography website.
Lil' Guppies Scuba School

For this project I created a logo for this imaginary brand from the ground up. Everything from the color pallet and design of the logo were created by me to fit the brand. The scuba school needed to be marketed to both kids to get them to want to participate in lessons and help their parents feel comfortable with the school.
Town Resturant

Pretending that Town Restaurant needed print readies I had to design a table tent, brochure, and menu. The project came with color plate and fount choice to help guide me in design. InDesign was used for its quick and easy method creating guidelines for test. The provided pictures add incite to why creatin design decisions were made.
Word Bubble Aurora

I like the music from the signer Aurora. Using her image as a example I created this word bubble. To try and create more volume and dimension to her face some areas of text were duplicated and given a similar color as the text around it,.
The Fallen Star

Using the story The War of the World as inspiration I created two posters for the original spaceship in the story. A mic of mediums were used to create a contrast between the different materials objects were made out of. I feel this helps the composition by adding texture to the piece, and reflect the space in-between different objects.

Henri's Landscaping CO. needed a design to go on shirts and sweatshirts. Having no logo of their own I have to work from the ground up using landscaping as the overall theme.
